Bookshelves I  (1995)

The first member of the Modular Series. Bookshelves I is a freestanding structure and serves as a room divider. As such it can be accessed from both sides and its transparency depends on the amount of books and things one puts into. Its structure is symmetrical on its central axis. It allows, as all the other members of the Modular Series do, to add units or elements, either to expand its size or to change parts of its functionality.
