Bookshelves II  (2003)

Unlike Bookshelves I, Bookshelves II does not take its symmetry from a central support axis; the support happens very conventional at its four corners. Otherwise it is also a freestanding structure and can work as a room divider. Both sides are accessible and can be articulated with additional elements such as a divider wall, sidewall or back wall. If only one unit is used and placed freestanding in a room, it will work as a column. Do you want to build around a corner? Well, you can. Playful and simple? Yes.
