The Cube Box is still missing its clear Plexiglass cladding and the wooden pallet because of the lack of funding. A temporary wooden pallet is been built to transport the Cube Box with the Cube in it to a storage location.

Mechanism to Hold The Cube on Top
After attaching and fine tuning the Square Frame that holds the Cube in place at the top to the Cross that is part of the spring loaded clamping mechanism the work on the Cube Box is, for the time being, finished. It is still missing its clear Plexiglass cladding and the wooden pallet.

Testing of The Lifting Mechanism with The Cube!
As so often turns out to be the case, one will know if something thought out on paper works once the piece is practically finished as a working prototype. That certainly comes, like in this case, with a big risk. But the moment of truth had arrived: will the mechanism work and the motor be strong enough under the full load?
