April 2010

Study the attachment of the two sets of micro switches (active set and back-up set) in relation to the up and down movement of the stopper bar built into the inner leg (moving).

Set of micro switches (active set)

Design and build an aluminum box with a Plexiglas cover for the electric components of the mechanism. Mount all electric parts inside the aluminum box.

Stopper bar

Wire all electric parts inside the aluminum box. Attach the micro switches and wire them.

Conduct a test run. Fine tuning of the micro switches. It all works!

March 2010

Study the electric installation; where are the components (voltage transformer, relays, overload switch, main switch) going and what protects them? I decide to build an aluminum casing with a Plexiglas cover that sits on top of the Cube Box on the same level as the chain drive.

The two hinged doors with two locks each are built and installed. Two guidance (roll-in of the Cube into the Cube box)  or reenforcement angles are attached to each door.
